Río Cisnes Refuge Campground — Carretera Austral, Aysén

Campsites on the banks of the Río Cisnes — 5 sites in total, each with a space set up for a campfire, hot-water showers and a covered bathroom. Just steps from the refuge's café and pizzeria — hot coffee and wood-fired pizza waiting once you've pitched your tent.

Designed for Carretera Austral cyclists, fly fishing and road trips by car or motorhome — motorhomes are welcome, although the sites don't have electrical or water hook-ups. Drinking water is available at the campground. Electricity is limited, generated by solar panels: enough to charge phones and laptops, but not a hairdryer or electric kettle. WiFi is limited — it reaches the common areas, but may be weak or not reach every site. We don't currently have a communal kitchen for campers. Wood-burning stove in the common areas. Open all year round.

Pets: Yes, we welcome pets. Owners are 100% responsible for any harm their pet may suffer or cause during the stay.
